Major town 15 km from the campsite (10min by car). There you will find all necessary shops, supermarket, cash machine, banks, post office, doctors, hospitals etc....

There is a local produce market of regional specialities every Tuesday afternoon in July and August.

For art lovers, the Lodeve museum stages numerous exhibitions.

You will discover its rich heritage with the cathedral of St. Fulcran, the former Bishop's palace, carpet making....

There is a market every Saturday morning, truly a feast for the eyes and nose.

For lovers of art, the Lodeve museum stages international exhibitions each year:"Van Dongen, Braque..." and a poetry festival (Voice of the Mediterranean).

A magnificent market with its seasonal colours is held every Wednesday morning.

1 km from the campsite, the village offers many eating-places, (snack bar, pizzas, restaurants, table d'hôte). There's also a café with billiard table and a grocers.

8km away, Mourèze offers astonishing countryside of strangely shaped boulders, the result of erosion of the dolomitic rock by the combined action of the wind and water. Excellent walking opportunities.

SAINT GUILHEM LE DÉSERT

25 km away, this is an absolute must. Sights include one of France's oldest bridges built between 1036 and 1048, the Pont du Diable (Devil's Bridge). Not forgetting the Abbey of Gellone which has become an important halt on the route to Santiago de Compostela where the pilgrims come to worship at the relic of the cross and remains of St Guilhem.
